Founded in 1970 in Napa Valley’s renowned Stags Leap District, Stag's Leap Wine Cellars is one of California’s most historic wineries. The estate achieved international fame in 1976 when its 1973 S.L.V. Cabernet Sauvignon won the red wine competition at the legendary Judgment of Paris, outperforming many of France’s most celebrated wines and helping establish Napa Valley as a world-class wine region. Today, the winery remains best known for its elegant, age-worthy Cabernet Sauvignons which showcase the distinctive combination of power, finesse, and volcanic terroir that defines the Stags Leap District.
