Charlotte, NC | 2023 Liquid Farm "White Hill" Chardonnay

Liquid Farm is a boutique winery based in Santa Barbara County, California, established in 2009. They focus on Chardonnay and Pinot Noir, primarily from the Sta. Rita Hills AVA, known for its cool climate and ancient marine soils. Their Chardonnays are celebrated for their balance, minerality, and Old World sensibility.

The name Liquid Farm came about even before the first wines were in barrel. The idea was to highlight the connection between what happens above and below the ground, and how both shape the final wine. At its core, wine is a product of the land and the people who work it—it’s liquid born from farming.

"Blazing acidity, underscored by salty, rocky minerality and chiseled, chalky restraint. An ample ripe orchard fruit character rounds out the mid-palate before tightening into a precise finish of salty citrus. While certainly approachable now, this wine will benefit from a few years of ageing to develop its full complexity."
