Another single vineyard from Jean-Michel Dupré, this one planted in 1935 in the climat "Grands Cras" in Morgon covered by compacted volcanic ash called "tuff." The grapes for this wine were harvested from 80 plus year old vines that are sustainably farmed. The wine is whole cluster fermented, a common method in Beaujolais, and then aged in concrete vats for 9 months before bottling.

Within the Beaujolais region, Morgon stands as the second largest Cru, celebrated for its iconic volcanic soil. This unique terrain gives rise to exceptionally robust, warm, and spicy wines. Morgon proudly represents one of the ten distinguished Beaujolais crus, where red wines crafted from the Gamay grape variety reach their splendid expression.

"All of these years later I am still hard at work tirelessly and with a great vigor thanks to the passion for a job well done, it’s what motivates me everyday. The particularity of my vineyard is the age of my vines, some of which are centuries old."

- Jean-Michael Dupré

"Red garnet robe with purple tints. A nose displaying cherry, liquorice and peonies notes. The mouth is full and rich with savory and fruity notes. A finish marked with stone fruits, peppery notes and minerality on the backbone! "
