Waverly Location

At our fourth location in Waverly Charlotte, you're greeted by our meticulously curated wine shelves and wrap-around bar. Opened in 2019, this spot offers an inviting atmosphere both indoors and outdoors. Delight in small plates or dinner on our covered flower-lined patio, accompanied by the gentle murmur of the outdoor water fountain, or find comfort in the cozy bar area with intimate high-top tables. It also has a dedicated private events space, thoughtfully partitioned with rustic barn doors and outlined with spacious red leather booths, perfect for hosting your next special gathering.

Waverly Parking:

There is free parking surrounding our Waverly location. A parking deck is located behind Pet People / Hilton Garden Inn and is free for Waverly guests. The parking deck offers bicycle parking and electric vehicle charging stations.

Gift Cards

Foxcroft Wine Co. gift cards are now digital! Purchase online and redeem at any of our locations on dine-in or retail purchases!

Simply enter the recipient's email address and send the gift card immediately or schedule it to send at a future date. Upon redemption present the gift card email with the barcode on a smartphone or printed paper for scanning.

Physical gift cards are also available for purchase at all Foxcroft Wine Co. locations.

Our Waverly Team

Gary Mullis

General Manager

Gary, a Charlotte native, developed a passion for fine food and wine early on. After five years as a manager/beverage director of an independent gastropub he spent the next ten years as manager/beverage director of Dean & Deluca's Wine Room specializing in boutique California producers. From there, he moved on to working with a family-owned distributors which is where he developed a love for and knowledge of the finest international producers. Gary joined the Foxcroft Wine Co management team as of March 2019.

James Waters

Assistant General Manager

James is a bread-baking enthusiast with a passion for hospitality, food and of course wine. He is constantly trying new things in search of his new favorite wine or dish. James has worked in the hospitality industry his whole adult life. He has a diverse background working with coffee, soda, kombucha, beer, cider, mead, you name it! A fun fact about James is that he purchased his very first bottle of wine at Foxcroft SouthPark on the day he turned 21. James is now the Assistant General Manager at Foxcroft Wine Co. Waverly and can be found hanging out by the Italian red section. 

Taylor Janiak

Executive Chef

Chef Taylor, originally from New York, began his culinary journey at the age of 14, working weekends in a pizzeria. After graduating from Johnson & Wales University in 2013, he spent the next decade honing his skills in various kitchens in Charlotte, New York, and Denver. Chef Taylor is passionate about mentoring young cooks by  helping them develop their skills to thrive in the culinary world. When he's not in the kitchen, he enjoys traveling, outdoor adventures, family gatherings, and cherishing moments with his partner Rachel and their two dogs, Banks and Hudson.

In Memoriam - Executive Chef 

William Peterson

Will spent his childhood cooking in the family kitchen with his mom and cooking and baking with his grandmothers. His culinary journey was always centered on cooking meals for friends, family, and loved ones and how his food brings people together. Will followed his passion for cooking to Johnson and Whales University where he earned both AS and BS degrees in Culinary Science graduating in 2017. Will's mission at Foxcroft Wine Co. Waverly was to simply cook and create exceptional dining experiences for guests. He appreciated their trust and confidence in the Foxcroft Culinary brand and worked diligently to uphold the high standards set by all Foxcroft locations. In November of 2023, Will suddenly and tragically passed away due to a blood clot. We are devastated by the loss of a talented and wonderful chef and friend.
