SouthPark Location

Established in 2004, our first location started as a retail bottle shop and underwent significant expansion in 2006, transforming into one of the leading restaurants in SouthPark, Charlotte. Located in the Foxcroft East Shopping Center, our wine bar and restaurant have become a cornerstone of the Charlotte wine and food scene and inspired our brand's name.

Gift Cards

Foxcroft Wine Co. gift cards are now digital! Purchase online and redeem at any of our locations on dine-in or retail purchases!

Simply enter the recipient's email address and send the gift card immediately or schedule it to send at a future date. Upon redemption present the gift card email with the barcode on a smartphone or printed paper for scanning.

Physical gift cards are also available for purchase at all Foxcroft Wine Co. locations.

Sharon Balas

General Manager

General manager of Foxcroft Wine Co SouthPark, Sharon Balas, is not only a Charlotte native but a SouthPark one as well. As she often says, “I’ve gone absolutely nowhere…” In truth Charlotte has grown as a city along with her. She has been in the hospitality business for about 40 years mostly in SouthPark. Her passions include dogs, cats, wine, triathlon and her husband, Russ Gard. She is so grateful to have found her home at our SouthPark location and is at her most delighted when selecting the perfect bottle for her guests.

Elyse Stefaney

Assistant General Manager

Elyse has known she wanted to be in the restaurant industry since childhood. Through college at Johnson & Wales University, the passion shifted from pastry to the world of wine after an internship in Chicago led to a new perspective on wine pairings. Elyse now holds certifications with the Wine and Spirits Education Trust (WSET) and Court of Master Sommeliers (CMS). After managing beverage programs with other Charlotte-area restaurants, she has found home with the Foxcroft family. Elyse enjoys the outdoors and when not helping you choose the best bottle for your meal, she can be found playing in her garden or camping with her wife, Ann Marie - their rottweiler, Susan, always close by.

Executive Chef

Chris has loved cooking since an early age. One of his favorite dishes to make as a 10 year old was scrambled eggs and omelettes for his family. As he watched his mother cook he tried to follow her and put his own spin on her German family recipes. Chris worked his way up through restaurants doing everything from making pizzas in an Italian restaurant and bar food at the Players Retreat in Raleigh to catering at the Cardinal Club in Raleigh and practicing French cuisine at Coquette. He has had extensive training at the Carolina Inn at Chapel Hill where he was fortunate to learn techniques from the best Executive Chefs.

Chris’s journey led him to Foxcroft Wine Co several years ago. He loves being a part of the Foxcroft family and takes pride and enjoyment in providing people with beautiful, healthy meals plated with seasonal fresh ingredients and watching them enjoy them.
