Wölffer Estate Vineyard, founded in 1988 by Christian Wölffer in the Hamptons, Long Island, is a prestigious winery known for its sustainably farmed vineyards and exceptional wines, particularly its signature rosé. Spanning 55 acres near the Atlantic, the estate benefits from a unique microclimate ideal for growing varieties like Merlot and Chardonnay. "The color is a bright rich rose. Fine earthy notes with wonderful red berry fruit and ripe peach and fresh pear fills the glass. The mouth-feel is beautiful and vibrant with great acidity and is perfectly balanced by elegant fruitiness. There is a freshness and sophistication and a lovely after taste with nice minerality and a refreshing long finish."
