"The color is a translucent ruby; the nose is strongly cinnamon-spiced cranberry and red cherry, almost maraschino or cordial, very ripe, and with a touch of earthiness behind; the palate is suave and effortlessly smooth, with a long lingering finish, full of the same dark cherry and confiture strawberry fruits. This is a great example of how a little bottle age can transform a Pinot through different seasons: when young, the fruit is summer/ spring, bright and lively. With time, as in this case, we've moved into Autumn, with darker shades and deeper color and flavors."
