Julien Cruchandeau began making wine in 2003 and quickly became a pioneer in Bouzeron. He later moved to the hills above Nuits-St-Georges to pursue an incredibly dynamic career, establishing himself as one of the great winemakers of his generation through a hands off approach that allows the grape and terroir to speak for themselves.
This Hautes-Côtes de Nuits Blanc presents with a beautiful and subtle nose, showcasing the classic personality of white Burgundy with fresh white fruits and white flowers, elegantly intertwined with oak and spices. On the palate, it offers a pure and deep texture, featuring notes of dried fruits and the quintessential mouthfeel of top-tier Burgundy Chardonnay.
Vinification: Malolactic fermentation occurs 50% in barrel (10% new) and 50% in stainless steel vats. Aged in barrel for 12 months.
