White Walnut Estate is a USDA Certified Organic and Demeter Certified Biodynamic vineyard in the heart of Oregon’s renowned Dundee Hills. Once a walnut orchard left untended for generations, the land was overrun with bramble when Chris Mazepink purchased it in 2013. He recognized its potential, especially given its neighbors, Domaine Drouhin and Archery Summit, two of Oregon’s most respected estates.

In 2014, Chris and his sons, Archer and Charles, cleared the land by hand before planting Chardonnay and Pinot Noir in 2015 and 2016. A handful of the original walnut trees, now more than 70 years old, still stand tall among the vines and continue to bear fruit. It’s that energy, from both the land and the vines, that Chris works to preserve in the vineyard, the cellar, and ultimately in the glass.
