This wine, named "Geneviève," is a heartfelt tribute to Co-Owner Dorothy Panella’s mother, Geneviève – a French woman whose spirit perfectly matches this French-inspired creation.

"The color is a deep crimson, just on the darker side of translucent. Even from a distance, the nose leaps out of the glass to meet you, carrying chocolate-covered strawberries, dark plum, nutmeg and cedar. With air, there's a really distinct rooibos tea element that's unexpected but compelling.  On the palate, the wine is broad and mouth-filling, but quite elegant with flavors of blackberry, chocolate, and mocha. Tannins are there and frame the fruit well, but never push back too much. The non-fruit elements dominate the lengthy (60+ second) finish. This is a delicious and under-the-radar red blend that delivers well above the price; fewer than 500 cases of the 2021 were produced."
