Spookfontein, named after the Dutch words for "ghost" and "fountain," is a boutique wine farm in South Africa’s Hemel-en-Aarde Valley, known for its rich, expressive wines and breathtaking views. Founded by the Davis family, this 313-hectare estate features a renowned restaurant and accommodations for immersive getaways. With only 14 hectares under vine, Spookfontein’s wines capture the rugged terroir of rocky soils and cooling sea breezes from the Cape Doctor winds coming off of Walker Bay.
