2022 Petrolo "Torrione"

The Petrolo estate is located in the province of Arezzo, between the eastern edge of Chianti and the Arno River, with the Pratomagno Mountains rising in the distance. Spanning 672 acres of forest and rolling hills, just 11 percent of the estate is planted to vines. Torrione represents a new chapter in Petrolo’s approach to winemaking, with a focus on producing wines of the highest quality. The wine brings together grapes from several of the estate’s historic vineyards, including Sangiovese from Bòggina, Merlot from Galatrona, and Cabernet Sauvignon from Campo Lusso. The result is a balanced, expressive and deeply colored red that offers a true reflection of Petrolo’s terroir.
