Brooks Vineyard is a renowned winery located in the Willamette Valley of Oregon, known for its commitment to biodynamic farming, sustainability, and producing high-quality wines, particularly Pinot Noir and Riesling. Founded in 1998 by Jimi Brooks, the vineyard was built on principles of holistic winemaking, respect for the land, and creating a sense of community.
After Jimi’s untimely passing in 2004, the winery was sustained through the dedication of friends and family. His sister, Janie Brooks Heuck, stepped in to manage operations, ensuring the vineyard stayed true to Jimi's vision. Today, Brooks Vineyard remains family-owned and continues to honor its founder's legacy by producing wines that reflect the terroir of the Willamette Valley.
"Here’s a great pinot noir with a very wide spectrum of aromas, ranging from fresh strawberries to cherry blossoms and sour cherries. Very fresh and crisp on the concentrated, medium-bodied palate. Very long, crisp finish that tells you how youthful this really is, but the mineral acidity tells you this has great aging potential. Drinkable now, but best from 2025.”
