Dr. Nancy Irelan is the co-owner and winemaker of Red Tail Ridge Winery in New York’s Finger Lakes region. With a Ph.D. in grape genetics from UC Davis, she brings over 35 years of experience in the wine industry, including a leadership role as Vice President of Viticulture & Enology R&D at E&J Gallo. In 2004, she and her husband, Mike Schnelle, founded Red Tail Ridge, where she focuses on sustainable practices and cultivates innovative varietals like Teroldego and Dornfelder that thrive in the local climate.
Steve Morgan is a seasoned sommelier and the Midwest Regional Sales Manager for The Sorting Table, a Napa-based importer of artisanal wines. His career began in New York, with roles at top restaurants like Del Posto, Dressler, and Tribeca Grill, where he built a reputation for curating exceptional wine lists. He later joined the team at Alinea in Chicago, contributing to innovative pairings before transitioning into wine sales and distribution.
