SC- Paitin Barbaresco "Serraboella"

Serraboella is the most renowned cru in southern Neive—a long, west-facing hill that curves gently southward, growing steeper and warmer along the way. It’s on this steepest, sunniest slope that our Barbaresco takes shape, showing a distinct balance of power, depth, and refined texture. Two vineyards contribute to the final wine: the ‘d Tourun vineyard, which borders the Bricco, brings a more mineral-driven, structured character, while the Schiena d’Ernestin vineyard, from a more sheltered spot, adds finesse and elegance.

Barbaresco is a prestigious red wine from Italy’s Piedmont region, made entirely from the Nebbiolo grape. Grown in vineyards around the village of Barbaresco and neighboring areas like Neive and Treiso, the wine is known for its elegance, aromatic complexity, and fine tannins. Compared to its more famous cousin Barolo, Barbaresco tends to be slightly softer and more approachable at a younger age, though it still has the structure and depth to age gracefully. It often shows notes of cherry, rose, licorice, and earthy spice, with a balance of power and finesse that reflects its unique terroir.
