Cantina Tramin is a renowned cooperative winery located in Alto Adige, in northern Italy, known for producing high-quality wines that reflect the unique alpine terroir of the region. Founded in 1898, it brings together over 160 small growers who farm sustainably on steep, hillside vineyards. Cantina Tramin combines deep local tradition with modern winemaking techniques, consistently delivering wines with precision, character, and a strong sense of place.
Pinot Bianco is a versatile white grape variety known for producing wines that are fresh, elegant, and food-friendly. Typically medium-bodied with bright acidity, Pinot Bianco often shows flavors of green apple, pear, citrus, and sometimes a hint of almond or minerality, depending on where it’s grown. In cooler climates like Alto Adige in northern Italy, it tends to have a crisp, clean profile, while in warmer areas it can take on more rounded, fruity notes.
Tasting Note:
Moriz Pinot Bianco shows a pale straw color with hints of green. The nose offers layered aromas of pear, citrus, and dried fruit, with a subtle touch of butter. On the palate, it's both fresh and full-bodied, balanced by firm minerality and a long, satisfying finish.
