SC- 2021 Chappellet "Pritchard Hill" Cabernet Sauvignon

Since the beginning of their winemaking journey, Chappellet's Pritchard Hill Cabernet Sauvignon has been the most coveted wine in their portfolio. It serves as a true homage to the incredible winegrowing potential of Pritchard Hill. Inspired by Bordeaux, this wine, like many from Bordeaux’s left bank, is a blend primarily composed of Cabernet Sauvignon, complemented by other classic Bordeaux varieties. The vines thrive on rocky, mountainside vineyards, and after harvest and fermentation, the wine is aged for 22 months in 100% new French oak barrels.

Medium to full-bodied with a wonderfully rich fruit-forward palate of succulent blackberry, plums, and black cherry, nuanced by an inviting minerality with an ironstone quality laced by dried sage.
